On behalf of a leading engineering firm we are seeking a Financial Bid Analyst to produce accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring compliance with customer and internal approval requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimating process for bids and brief the bid team on cost estimation
- Create and present model estimates using parameters from Bid Engineering
- Review and validate inputs, ensuring version control through an estimate tracker
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to apply rates, exchange rates, and inflation adjustments
- Compile resource estimates and subcontract prices into tender templates
- Update pricing and tender templates to reflect negotiations and scope changes
- Support the Project and Bid Managers in compiling the risk register
Requirements:
- CIMA or ACCA qualification (Can be Part-Qualified)
- Financial background with experience in cost estimation
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
